Digital Laboratory Planetary Mixer
A Digital Laboratory Planetary Mixer is a specialized equipment for mixing asphalt materials, operated via an intuitive display and keyboard. It features a rotating mixing bowl with multiple agitator arms that move in planetary motion, ensuring thorough and uniform mixing of the asphalt components.
- Intuitive display: setting or adjusting speed while mixing is very easy thanks to the mixer’s dedicated display and keyboard.
- Supplied complete with bowl and whisk
- Easy operation to fit or remove the bowl and whisk.
- Maximum safety: in the event that the operator lifts the transparent cover, the safety switch will automatically turn the mixer off, as prescribed by CE requirements.
- Uniform mixing: its robust design and accurate planetary action assure a complete and uniform mixing of the materials.
Note:
- The mixer must be fitted with a suitable Isomantle heater which we supply as an accessory (see accessories).
- Our mixers can also be used for other application such as mixing sub-base soil samples.
- Our planetary mixer can be used as part of your Superpave performance based testing program.
- New mixing speed control system, granting a much wider range of speed: it is possible to set the right mixing speed to avoid the formation of dust while mixing.
- Whisk/Planetary speeds adjustable from 12/5 to 149/65 rpm, depending on the mix consistency.
- Continuously variable speed (VFD technology).
- Completely new interface with digital alphanumeric display 2×16 characters with keyboard control.
- Complete set of safety features, including emergency stop, steel safety grid and micro-switch preventing the machine to be started without bowl in position.
- Machine operated by a dedicated and easy to use inbuilt software.
