The 50-C9030 and 50-C9030/H, conforming to EN 196 are designed to test portions of 40 x 40 x 160 prisms broken in flexure, while the 50-C9032, conforming to ASTM C109, fitted with compression platens 75 mm dia., and a vertical daylight of 53 mm is used to test 50mm/2” cubes and other little samples as, for example, micro cores.
The model 50-C9031 is similar to C9030 but with compression platens 40 x 62.5 mm instead of 40 x 40 mm.
The total height of both 50-C9030, 50-C9031 and 50-C9032 apparatus is 195 mm while it’s 225mm for model 50-C9030/H and 50-C9032/H.
Vertical clearance of the compression machine has to be adjusted using suitable distance pieces accordingly.
