Extensometers
Our range basically includes two models: clip-on and coaxial extensometers.
– Clip-on extensometers (available in a mechanical and an electronic version) are useful to detect strain during the first stage of the test (up to yield phase) and must be removed from the specimen before the rebar failure.
– Electronic coaxial extensometers are applied directly to the specimen and remain connected until failure, measuring specimen extension with high precision during both the elastic and plastic stages.

Coaxial Extensometers with Fixed Base Length
Extensometers used for measuring the extension of specimens in traction, particularly in the case of steel and brittle materials, are… -
Universal Extensometers
The Universal Extensometers are used to measure the elongation of steel rebars, round and wire steel specimens.
