Triaxial Cells
Triaxial cells are one of the main components of a triaxial system. They are used to house ssoil samples during triaxial testing. Three models are available and vary according to test type and performances. Each model comes in several versions with different dimensions and pressure capacities. Standard triaxial cells are suitable for effective/total stress test, such as:
– Unconsolidated Undrained (UU)
– Consolidated undrained (CU)
– Consolidated Drained (CD)
– Permeability test Banded triaxial cells
Unlike the previous model they are also adapted to Stress Path and Dynamic Testing. Meanwhile, double wall triaxial cells enable you to perform unsaturated soil tests.
