The typical Consolidation test determines the rate and magnitude of consolidation of a soil specimen. From standard front-loading oedometers available in analog or electronic versions to the fully Automatic Computerized Oedometer (ACE EmS) that comes loaded with Electromechanical Servo-actuation (EmS) technology.
