Moisture / Density Relationship
CONTROLS offers the soil compaction test equipment you need to perform Proctor Compaction Tests that assess the relationship between moisture content and density of compacted soil.
By developing a curve using varying degrees of moisture with a standard compaction procedure, the Standard Proctor and the Modified method can be used to determine the optimal moisture content of soils as well as the resulting soil density and compaction ratio. Our equipment allows you to evaluate relative compaction and relative density of granular soils.
