Concrete Compaction

Proper compaction of concrete specimens, meant to be used for compression tests, is crucial in order to obtain higher compressive strength results. A denser concrete generally provides higher compressive strength thanks to the low ratio of voids. Vibrating tables or pocket vibrators can be successfully used for this purpose.
