Mixing

A concrete mixer is a device that homogeneously combines cement, aggregate, water, and admixtures to form concrete. Differing from continuous mixers, batch mixers produce concrete one batch at a time. Two main types of batch mixers vary according to the orientation of the axis of rotation: horizontal or inclined (drum mixers) or vertical (pan mixers).
